What We Build

Software Built Around Your Business

Admin Tools & Portals

Replace the spreadsheet. Own the process.

Internal admin tools, client portals, booking and management systems, data dashboards: we build the software your team actually needs to work the way you work. Not a renamed off-the-shelf product with your logo on it.

  • Internal admin panels and management dashboards
  • Client-facing portals and self-service tools
  • Booking and job management systems
  • Data reporting and business intelligence views

Integration

Your systems, finally talking to each other.

We regularly build connections to Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe and dozens of other platforms. If it has an API, we can connect to it. The integration layer is often the most valuable part of a custom build, replacing hours of manual data entry with automated, live syncing.

  • Accounting software: Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Sage
  • CRM platforms: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and more
  • Payment and billing systems via Stripe and GoCardless
  • Any platform with a REST or GraphQL API

When to Go Bespoke

Beyond automation, into a tool of your own.

Workflow automation (see our Automate service) is ideal when you need to connect existing apps and eliminate repetitive steps. Custom software is the right choice when you need a genuine standalone tool: something with its own interface, its own data model and its own logic that no automation layer can replicate.

  • When your core process lives in a spreadsheet
  • When off-the-shelf covers 80% but costs you every day
  • When your tools don't connect and can't be made to
  • When you need a client-facing product, not just internal automation

When to go bespoke

You're running core business processes in spreadsheets

A custom portal replaces the spreadsheet entirely

Your tools don't talk to each other

We build the bridge or replace both

Off-the-shelf software is 80% right but costs you daily

Bespoke covers the other 20% without compromise

How It Works

From Brief to Live

01

Discovery & Scoping

We map your existing process, identify the pain points and agree on exactly what the software needs to do, before any code is written.

02

Design & Architecture

We design the interface and plan the data architecture. You review and sign off before we move to build.

03

Build & Integrate

We build the application and wire up integrations to your existing systems, testing at every stage.

04

Launch & Handover

We deploy the software, train your team and provide documentation. Ongoing support is available from day one.

FAQs

Questions We Get Asked

Off-the-shelf software is built for the average use case. It gets most businesses 80% of the way there, but that last 20% often costs more in workarounds, manual effort and staff frustration than a custom build would have. Bespoke software is built around your exact process, your data, your terminology and your integrations. There are no unused modules, no workarounds, no paying for features you'll never touch.

Scope varies too much for a single number, but most internal tools and portals we build fall between £5,000 and £25,000, with timelines of 6 to 16 weeks. Simpler admin panels or single-integration dashboards sit at the lower end; multi-system platforms with complex logic sit higher. The fastest way to get an accurate estimate is a discovery call, where we scope the project together before any commitment is made.

Yes. We regularly build integrations with Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage. If it has an API, we can connect to it. We also work with CRMs, booking platforms, job management tools and third-party data sources. The integration layer is often the most valuable part of a custom software build, replacing manual data entry between systems with live, automated syncing.

Yes, completely. The code, the database, the infrastructure, it's all yours from the moment we hand it over. You're not locked into a licence, a platform or us. If you ever want to move to a different developer after launch, we'll hand everything over cleanly and fully documented.

Most clients take a monthly retainer after launch covering hosting, security updates, performance monitoring and a set number of development hours per month for changes and new features. If you'd rather pay as you go, we can do that too. Either way, you'll always have a direct line to the team who built the system, not a support queue.
